Join me Sunday June 21st at 12PM Eastern time (13 horário de Brasilia) as we travel down south all the way to Brazil to welcome Katiúscia Ribeiro, PhD and Valter Duarte (PhD student) to the program to discuss the birth and evolution of African Philosophy (filosofia Africana) in Brazil. These are two powerful voices, not only in the field of African philosophy, but in Africology (in general) and social justice in South America. A major topic for this discussion is the rise and importance of Afrocentricity to the Africans in Brazil. This interview will toggle between English and Portuguese, and we will have a translator to facilitate the conversation. So set your reminder, like, and share with friends and colleagues.
