This discussion asks the questions, "Should African-Americans Create Their Own Spiritual System?" With all of the divisions in modern religious systems, and all of their historical shortcomings, is it time for African-Americans to design and develop a spiritual system devoid of all of the shortcomings of the old world religious traditions? If so, what would it look like? What would be the base values? How would we structure and implement it? How do we address God? Do we need God for our new spiritual tradition? We will address these questions in a dynamic panel discussion of enlightened young minds (TBA). Please share with your friends, family, and colleagues and let's see what our brilliant minds can come up with.
